Elbert Green Hubbard
Elbert Green Hubbard, an American writer, wrote the book Called A Message to Garcia in 1899. It tells the story of a soldier who sent a message to the leader of an army called Garcia who hided in the mountains of Cuba During Spanish-American War War. Once the writer was talking about the Spanish-American War, everyone thought Garcia was the true hero , but his son didn't. He said the soldier called Roben who sent the letter was the true hero. When Elbert heard that, he got the idea of the book. Now we usually say " how can I find a people to send a message to Garcia" to tell there is nobody can finish a difficult mission. I didn't read the book but I can image how hard it is. You have to go through the mountain, river, avoid wild animals and overcome many unknow problems. The soldier is the true hero of the war. I hope a can be a guy who can send a message to Garcia in the future.
